A Day of Chocolate
Try this on for size! Do you love chocolate? Why not have a chocolate fondue party as a girl’s afternoon or girl’s night out. Yes, chocolate, wine and goodies to dip into that delicious fondue. I got this idea from a message board I frequent and thought it is such an awesome, unique idea. I like to be unique and mentioned to a friend about having one. I also stated that I don’t have a fondue pot so I’d have to buy one and she said no, don’t worry, I have one you can use! So guess what! We’re planning an Afternoon of Chocolate. Sort of like a Girl’s Night Out but of course during the day.
It will just be us girls, no kids allowed at this one, so we can talk about girl stuff, indulge in some chocolate and sip on some sweet wine or beverage of choice. Life is busy and I know as a wife, mom, and business owner I tend to forget about myself and alway put ME last on the list. But why do we as women do that? There are days when I’m running out of steam and just need a bubble bath but what do I do? That small load of laundry that can clearly wait or pick up the toys in the hallway that my kids can pick up later. Senseless I say!! So ladies lets start getting together, forging long lasting friendships and grab a small trinket of time to share our dreams, to get things off our chest that we just can’t tell anyone else, a time to let loose (cause no kids are looking and learning) and feel free.
Indulge with me and move yourself to the top of your list and invite your girls over and be just that….GIRLS!
